The Community Broadcasting Association of Victoria Inc (the CBAV) is Victoria’s State Peak body for Community radio and television licensees.
While initially CBAV worked to assist aspirant stations to gain their licences, now its efforts are focused on running training programs for people in Victorian community stations.
CBAV also organises seminars on key topics, conferences, general meetings and meetings with key personnel from the broadcasting authorities. CBAV also co-ordinates promotional activities, a sponsorship scheme and a regular newsletter.
More information, including the newsletter, can be found at the CBAV website.
