Bay FM is a volunteer organization that delivers community responsive radio to the Byron Shire and beyond. The programming reflects the incredible diversity represented in our permanent population as well as providing information and entertainment to tourists and visitors to the area. The resident population tends to be independently minded and determined to maintain Byron Shire's uniqueness and value. The radio station encourages community participation. The 120 volunteers are well supported with Volunteering Standards that provide for a safe and happy working environment.
