Central Hunter Radio is a community radio station serving the Cessnock and Maitland Local Government areas.
It is made up of volunteers . There are a number who, work in the office and act as announcers, there is a management committee that is elected from among members of the Association.
The Management Committee comprises of ten members of the association. The Management committee elects a Secretary, Treasurer and chairman. It is the job of this committee to manage the affairs of the Association.
There are also sub committee of the Management Committee, Sponsorship, training, Studio Liaison Officer and the Friends of CHR FM.
Friends is the fund raising arm of the Association..
