Cross cultural fundraising project launched

Gar Morumba, an innovative cross cultural fundraising project, was launched by Minister for the Arts, Matt Foley and Aboriginal Elder, Aunty Alice James. The project was organised by Artists for Co-existence, a dedicated group of volunteer arts workers backed by the Brisbane City Council and South Bank Corporation, for the approved Aboriginal Cultural Centre in South Brisbane. The project would culminate in an auction of over 150 works of art donated by artists from all over Australia.
