NLC outlines flaws in Reeves Report

The Northern Land Council outlined serious legal, anthropological, methodological and economic flaws in the Reeves Report which recommended major changes to the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act. NLC Chairman, Galarrwuy Yunupingu, said the public inquiry by the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs into the Reeves Report, which opened in Darwin on this day, revealed the document to be totally lacking in credibility.
