UGFM commenced broadcasting across the Murrindindi Shire in 1994. Its geographical area is approximately 130 kilometres north-east of Melbourne. Located at Alexandra, the Station has around 50 volunteer presenters and operates 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Daytime programmes consist of local news and information, interviews, easy listening music (for all ages). Specialist programs are broadcast on weekday evenings & nights. We feature regular outside broadcasts from many events within the Shire.
